And finally agreed to buy it
Such a nice car to drive and with the various extras on board I got it at a real good price I think.
Got full heated leather interior, 19" alloys and climate control.
28 thousand miles on a 56 plate.
Plan to get cruise control fitted as I'll miss that from my Golf and would like to pick up some 18" alloys in due course to use on track.
Otherwise chuffed to bits, pick it up in two weeks hopefully

Silver is awesome and rare.
There is a silver 57 plate down my local dealer for 13995 and must have been one of the last silver ones made.

According to parkers, private sale in good condition books at £9600.
I'm paying £10k for this under mileage with the worthwhile upgrades. Certainly the best priced one I've seen and is genuinely flawless.

Nice options. I think vxr's are piss poor in standard form. My friends 2007 has got air con and thats it! Poor for a modern hot hatch.

Welcome to the club mate!
Get yourself on www.vxronline unless you are already a member!Although there are some cocks (like any forum) theres loads of good people and info etc.
Cruise is easy to retro fit and can I suggest some DAP springs and a RARB to compliment your 18inch wheels, especially if you are going on track.

Cheers Ben. I'll probably leave it for a bit. Wheels are my biggest priority and I'll see about upgrading handling later maybe.
Presumably you need a dealer or someone with software to enable cruise after the stalk is fitted?

Yep...it needs Tech 2 to enable it. I think mine cost £80 all in including stalk etc.

Yep...just fancied a change. Having a few other bits done so thought I may as well get springs changed too.

Lovely, silver is the colour I would have had the wheels look much better in that colour!

No, won't be homeless
Agreed over the whole issue and I get the car
As for the wheels, I love the colour but being 19s the ride is a bit harsh - will be more comfortable on standard 18s.
