Sold my ninja last week after just never being 100% happy with it.

My mate was selling this so did a deal and brought it home last night. Given it a quick clean but it needs a fair bit of tlc and a couple of new stickers on one side but overall happy with it.







Not sure if its a good idea snow foaming a bike but I did anyway..

Its a K2. Taking it out for a spin this afternoon so will see what its like. Need to get the damaged stickers ordered and a few bolts due to it being left in a garage for last 2 years unused.

Rusting bolts is suzuki quality for you. Never get around that. just got the keep the buggers clean.

One of my friends has a full akroprovic (?Sp) system on it. For an IL4 it sounds utterly fantastic.

You sit quite low on these too so gives you bags of confidence to get the bike over.

Lovely, lovely, lovely.

I have desperately wanted a blue and white Slingshot/GSXR 1100/750/1000/600 since about 1991 when I saw one racing an identical bike in red and white, both on the back wheels along the sea front at Nice.

Almost the best bikes ever.

GSXR's have always been a popular bike. Very user friendly, easy to ride hard with a much more comfortable position than the other Jap superbikes. If I was going to get one I would have went for a K5 though.

I've got an '09 Ninja myself, I've got no problems with it. Much more track bias than other bikes straight out the box, and a lot more rewarding when you do get it right. Just depends what you go out riding for I suppose.

I had the chance of a few K5's and K4's but I couldn't justify the extra cash for the amount of use I get out of a bike.

I've never really been a huge fan of the older GSXR's but I knew this one was a decent, honest bike so made sense.

K3 VMU, yeh it sold last week for pennies but I just wanted it away. Lost a lot of money on it but learnt my lesson.
