..and came across this:
MSi All-In-One V1
I'm not looking for super amazing performance, just enough to browze without slow response times. Would like to be able to play GTA:IV on this also..
I only use my own computer for internet/social networking/e-mail/ordering products and sometimes gaming. So would this be adequate or could you recommend a better desktop for the same sort of price?

well if you went for a normal desktop you would get a better spec, but that said for what you want it for the spec is fine.
not to sure on the games side of things, but everything else it would run no problems.

John - I don't want to make my room look cluttered with a tower and wires everywhere as it's not long been refurbed. (Space saving over anything really..)
ssj_kakarot - Thanks for the reply. I may look into a normal desktop if I get better spec for my money.. makes sense really.

I had a Hp tx laptop a few years ago whilst it looked cool it was just a gimmick with no real use and got boring quickly, In the end I just wished is brought a better spec laptop for the same cash. The hardware was a bit rubbish for the money too £800 laptop and had the hdd replaced twice and motherboard once within a year, so I got my money back a brought a mbp instead.

I have the HP Touchsmart PC and tbh i would definitely suggest the all in one PC, its far quicker than laptops, and you don't lose the desktop feel, yet save loads of space. With regards to the touchscreen, its a nice quirky feature to have but tbh i rarely use it, naturally you just pick up the mouse.
Touchsmart
The HP is a bit out of your price range tho, i think prices start at £1,100 - £1,500.
