Hi

at the end of the month i am looking to buy a new car i have around £1500 to play with, would really like a c20xe corsa done to a good standard, or a 1.6 (gsi or sport) with a few mods to make it nippy enough to compensate for not having a c20xe,

is this budget too low, bare in mind the car will be over 12 years old more than likley?

been on pistonheads, ebay and that but the ones i have found are in either boring colours e.g silver (no offence to anyone) but im after one in a different colour such as white or green?

also want the engine in a good conition if a 2.0 not just dumped in

Many thanks Simon

U can build a XE Corsa for £1500, with some change. But, it'd be a bodge. If u want doing properly, u will need spare atleast £2000...

but the car is over 12years old, surely none of them should hold value more than £1500?

But the conversion costs a fair bit, if you go into it thinking your gona get a mint corsa with a well done conversion I would give up now

You might get a tidy conversion but it will likely be a rough base model or high miler
