I had wind deflectors on my Corsa GSi with leccy windows, never had that problem though. Must have been lucky.

they do work, i have them fitted.
Put your window up to about an inch from the top, then tap the button so the window goes up in short bursts this will enable to window to fully close without being put back down. Once its closed press and hold each sides button, you will hear clicking inside the door do this a few times making sure you hear the clicking. This should set the window closure thingy and hey presto your windows should close fully without coming back down. Sometimes you will have to repeat this to get it to work. Mine have been fitted for about a year and no issues
