Well I was taking the Corsa up to Jamie @ Lemass for him to work his magic on a few more mechanical niggles I wanted to address. Thing is, I'd have wasted a day doing nothing waiting around, so decided to clean his car whilst I was there, I also ended up doing Jambo's 182 too
So, started off by trying to fit the contents of the van into the car:
Then spent the day on Jamie's Astra and Jambo's 182 - full interior, exterior wash, polish & wax on Jamie's, full interior, exterior wash and wax to Jambo's. A few quick snaps grabbed at the end of the day before the sun went away completely:
The pics don't do the colour any justice - it's stunning
And Jamie's Astra which is also pretty tasty:
As for my car, well, we won't go there

You've managed to pack a lot in the Corsa! I expect it handled better too with the back seats down

how clean are they.
Both cars look awsome mine is in desperate need of a polish.
What do you think of the cutting compound G3 rich?
Thinking of getting the bodyshop to over over mine when its in for a bit work as the roof is starting to look a tad faded.

still learning about these things, but g3 is quite abrasive to be honest, if your paint is not that bad bad but you still want to then i would have thought the g6 or g10 would be better..

if you cant get the roof to come back by hand then i would of thought some decent polish on a finishing pad (machine polisher) would do the trick tbh mate, or a very light cut..
like i said im still learning a lot at the moment and new to this but im sure rich can shine some light on it for you (and me)

Gonna try T-cut it with a machine polisher once weather gets better to see it that works.

Sorry, not been at my PC lol.
G3 = Liquid sandpaper lol - lethal stuff in the wrong hands. If it's fading, a quick pass with a dual action polisher and some Dodo Lime Prime should do the trick.
Polish off black plastics - toothbrush and all purpose cleaner or a normal rubber are 2 easy methods.
