So after 2 weeks of ownership it was a dry saturday so I thought I would treat the Civic to a polish
Big thanks to Matt L for taking the time to take some pictures for me, They came out really well

I did the Astra today. Silver same as yours... my routine involved:
Clean
Dry
2 x AG SRP layers
2 x Jett Sealent layers.
Silvers a difficult colour to work but I beleive sealents are better to go with than waxes...

Looking good mate  That Mattel does know how to point a camera.
Mark, iirc you need a wax on top of a sealant because sealants are synthetic whereas waxes are natural. There is a more fancy reason why but I can't remember it

No they both do the same thing...protect a polished surface. Acrylic sealents give a more clear wet look which suits silvers better. Waxes give a warmer finish which suits other colours.

That right? Ive always used colonite wax on my silver car but its never looked that glossy, reckon a sealent would help?

That's just how the CS uploader has compressed and resized them mate. It makes it go nasty when the image is too sharp

Yeah I believe Sealent's work better on silver/light colours. They give the paintwork a reflective gloss wet look which sometimes doesn't come through when using wax. If I had more time today I would have put a layer of wax over the sealent for extra protection but its not really necessary as the paint is protected by the sealent anyway. Its just an extra layer.
You need to Werkstatt Jett Acrylic Trigger sealent it's brilliant.
