RC's suit the MKIV's nicely

If you need some anni shocks to go with lowered springs let me know as I still have mine.

Cheers chaps.

Fro- is there actually a difference between standard shocks and anni shocks? how much do anni springs lower? 20 or 30mm?

The ones in the first pic look hideous. Saw a mk4 Golf with them yesterday as well and it looks stupid.

Very very nice on the new ones

So much nicer old whels are so bad, all the chavs round here have them, I'd only lower about 30mm from what can see in that pic

Anni shocks can take lower springs if you dont want to purchase a full kit i.e 50mm eibachs. wouldnt bother with anni springs aswell.

Mine sat like this on anni suspension

and this on the coilovers. Not sure on the drop as i just adjusted them until I liked it.

If you dont want coilovers the eibachs 50's are a good shout. You may get ARB issues though. Although I didnt get any and I think my front must have been lower than 50.

Are the part numbers different on the shocks fro? And did you honestly never have sump issues ?

Why have you removed the arb? I don't understand removing arb's.

if youre too low the driveshaft will hit the arb so if you dont want to buy a new arb (i have the eibach 22mm one) then some people either cut them or remove them completely.

Car looks great though, good choice on the wheels too even though im a bit bias

Although i like the old wheels, I do think that they have been done to death, Nearly everyone with golfs/boras etc around here has them.

Does look 110x better now
