places have been confirming release dates for this since before the ps3 came out. nothing to stop that being delayed, and if i get a copy on 5th of may ill cover it in bbq sauce and eat it

I've seen all the pre-order copies on the shelf in Blockbusters, but I still don't believe the date they're promising.
Haven't Sony’s Marketing VP and SCEE Exec both said an October/"Fall" release? Something to do with pre-Xmas release, and Sony's 3D TV technology stuff.

Exactly, my mate's always going on about how it's annoying that it keeps being set back, even though I told him the people actually making the game aren't giving a date, it's just shops making it up.
I don't get why they would make up a date just for it to get delayed again and again because it's not real? People are just going to get annoyed.

Its to get people to pre order it. Put up a fake date, people see it think quality ill have that soon and pre order it.
Push the date back and come out with another fake date, more people see it think must be true this time, pre order it and then the same thing happens again and again
