He will want to remain as manager of a PL side for another year at least, rather than a team thats had to sell Rooney and Vidic in an attempt to stave off going bust.

Why are people touting names for this job? They can't afford any of them, they cant even afford to pay off Brown, hence being put on "gardening leave"

Its desperation from a skint club, hoping Horton can somehow have a honeymoon period and keep the club in the Premiership
