shes had em checked and a crack was found even tho i showed her it! she wants a refund. sum tyre fitter bloke she got on the phone said id b liable for any accident? no recipt was handed over, sold as seen? stupid b!tch.

In private sales there is no come back, if you have notified the buyer of the defect and they go ahead and buy the item the onus is on them no longer on you. If she buys dodgy parts off you also she cannot try and get a refund as private sales are no governed by the same laws, you are well within your right to refuse and tell her they were sold as seen and it is tuff shit.

she seen the crack but it wasnt advertised in the paper as having a crack. I never knew but she works in the works bar on a night and my stupid mum told her where i worked wen she bought em yday.

personally if i was buying something like that i wouldnt hand over any cash until i was satisfied with what i was getting. in a private sale you check everything over before handing over a penny. i think she's just trying her luck

Tell her to get to feck, it was a private sale and you told her what was up with them. If she is not happy using them, dont put em on the car, the dumb bitch shouldnt have bought em in the first place!!!
Sold as seen, when you buy a car, that usually has probs you find after purchasing it, you just put up with them.
If she is that concerned tell her to buy another wheel new!

if you pointed out any crack or damage then she has no comeback. how ever even if things are sold as seen they have to be of a certain level of quality.
