just out of intrest what is a redtop with f20 geabox's topspeed and also an f16 if know by anyone
ive heard claim'd 140mph at 7000rpm in 5th in a nova

I dont know the differences but my XE corsa went off the clock with an F18 (clocks went to 140)

In a Nova 2.0 16v with a F20, Astra GTE digital clocks, 5th limter was show at 149mph.

about 137 mph real speed. dash speed is made up magic numbers.

surely tyre/wheel size would affect what it would do at the limiter in 5th.

lol i dont care what ppl think they get on speedo/gps .. a 150bhp redtop wont do the best part of 150mph in a corsa. a standard turbo engine will stuggle for 150mph in a corsa. there about as aerodynamic as a bus.

there are different F20's arent there? CR and WR no?

I'm sure 139 was the max speed at near standard C20XE rpm (7200 or so) with near enough standard rolling radius/and so gearing

Yeah around 137 is what ive always though on an F20 @ 6800 rpm(standard limiter).
