It's pretty open but supposed to have some sort of story behind it. I'm going to come up with some sort of bullshit story about relationships of inside / outside I think

Could go with how interaction with the world makes us human and moulds our personalitys, without it we might as well just be faceless silhouetts.
Then have your running order the opposite of what you have posted and its the story of someone experiencing the world without interaction being just a silhouette then at the end they start to experience and become human?
Photos would fit that pretty well as they are imo

Number 1. Did you 'shop the guy on the left in?
His foot looks dodgy and he has no shadow

no, only photoshop work is contrast and then layering the photos ontop of each other, see what you mean though

Nice pics mate, on the first (if you have Photoshop) I would tone down the highlights so that the building/sky etc isn't quite as blown out, then I'd do the opposite on the second so that outside is a bit brighter. Only a tiny bit though.
Other than that they're great pics

I'm sorry to not follow the trend here but all of the pictures are just not doing anything for me.
Maybe I don't understand this Uni photography stuff but in each picture you have pushed the camera beyond all of its boundries, The silhouettes are meaning less and the detail part of the shots are just not eye capturing...
I'm not sure what your shooting on but I just see the camera really struggling to capture your idea's.
sorry.

Have to agree with Gaz really, maybe its because I don't understand the thought process etc etc, just the final images do nothing by themselves.

Sorry none of them do anything for me, and if they were mine they would have been deleted.
Sorry just my honest view.

I'm not a fan of those pictures either, think they're all too dark, not enough outline on the silhouettes imo.
But well done on the 75% mate
I'd like to do an evening Photography course I think, but i'm not doing too bad by myself if I do say so...

Congrats on the first, thats the thing i photography what i find bad others think is ace and visa versa (and im not saying that in a bad way against you if that makes sense) but like a few of us didnt believe in them but you came out with a first because they appeal to others. im going to shut up now as i dont think i am making sense lol.

You dont get marked on wether or not the person likes them, its about how well the subject has been interpreted, is it an original idea, whats the critical background, research and development, how well any writing contextualises the work. Stuff like that.
Its true though that photography is incredibly subjective.
Well done Simon, Ive only ever had 1 first so far im crap at doing research and looking at other peoples work

I completely understand differences of opinions on this sort of thing. I'm in my fifth year studying architecture where every couple of weeks since the beginning we have our work pinned up and it gets torn apart so have learnt how to take criticism and varying opinions quite well
Unfortunately it is only an optional module so only get a few credits for it anyway
cheers though
