The majority of them will be CAT cars. When they are CAT rated it puts the cost down a fair bit (below the limit for cash transactions where money laundering could be suspected).

This means they can use their ill gained cash to buy these flash cars.

Sickening tbh.

They all hang around the cinema carpark and maccy d's. One of em sat in the entrance to the car park the other day, and the guy in the car behind honked em to get em to move out the way of the barrier, then 4 of em went over to his car shouting at him for honking

Race horses. Very big business, never pinching a valuable 1 and breading and trading them.

If its anything like what some did at my dads works it usually goes like this.

First they get a credit card, Weather it be cloned or stolen.

Then go into any small hire car/van company and hire out a car or a van.

Then they hand over the stolen/cloned credit card and hire the van out for say 2 or 3 days. Then when they have the car they give false name, address etc (Usually copied off the credit card) and away they go.

When they have the said car/van they put it on false plates etc and there they have a new car or van.

It only ever happens to them when some come from another part of the country. They know most of them around here now.

Scrap. The moneys in scrap trust me. I know many pikies/travellers/gypsies and you wouldnt believe how clever they're with their money. Everything is dealt with cash too.
Either scrap or drugs.

I work on the roofing so we weight in loads of scrap with the pikies. Lead, cast, alloy everything. We went to weight in some solid steel chequer (sp) plate the other day. He looks at it on the back of the pick up and says: "I'll give ya a tenner" We said na, get it on the scales. Turns out there was 400kg there and we got £50 scrap price for it. Just goes to show, if they can get away with things, they'll try, and thats how they've always got money.
