Any good ideas that I'll possibly have in the garage?
Trying to stick my metal plates on, front bumper on the astra comes to a point.
Tried no nails tape stuff, doesn't work, lasted until I got home today.
I'm about to go out and try silicone, had success with that before but I'm not hopeful.
It's coming off both the plate and the car, don't know why it's so shit.

If you heat the 1.5mm sticky pads up from Halfords they do stick, I put mine on when it was freezing cold so it wouldn't set properly.

I just used the number plate sticky strips from Halfords, worked well for me

this is going to sound silly but i found whenever i stuck my plate on in the cold it would come straight off, when it was warm it would stay on until i actually pulled it off again. that was just with those velcro strips/circles from halfords

Both surfaces are clean, it's because it's curved, the back is on fine.
I can run to halfords if need be, think I'll try the silicone then if it comes off I can get halfords before it shuts, I've had this problem before though, the only stuff that would hold it on was some black 3m super strong tape, can't find any now though.

See I had the same thing as Andy, just heat them up a bit when you stick them to the plate.

I left the plate on the radiator for a few mins and attacked the bumper with a hair dryer, it does feel like it's adhered better.
The tape i'm using is basically the halfords number plate pads in a roll btw.
Leave it in the garage to set for a bit then it can go back out in the rain and i'll see if it's still on in the morning.

Silicone no, just messy and if it fails your left with shity film over the surfaces.
Windscreen sealant never fails
