Well, I finally went back to vauxhall after my prolonged time with the french, and a stint with the japs
So I got myself this:
2002 SRI Turbo, Full service history, one owner from new
Has a diesel air scoop, courtenay panel filter, and a cat-back stainless exhausts from custom crafts.
Bought myself a load of cleaning bits from Rich H, cant reccomend him enough
Its also due its next service in june, but thought Id do it at more regular intervals, so will be giving it a full service this week. Also getting it undersealed
Plans for the future are:
Cosmetic:
Colour coded door handles & side strips - Have handles, need the strips yet.
GSI Headlamps - Done
Irmscher rear lights - Done
Eibach pro-kit springs with Bilstein B4 Shocks - Done
Wheel refurb in anthracite.
Power
2.2 Airbox - Done
FMIC
VXR Turbo
Precat pipe
Remap
Would also like the GSI interior if any pop up nearby and cheap, but they fetch around £600 for the lot
More pics through the week once its giving a full clean and service etc.
Latest pic of it from today, while I was ripping the poor 106 apart
Its money to pay for upgrades on the ashtray, still have to MOT and sell the accord too

Not going too low, just -30mm on the eibach springs.
CS seems to have spells of people getting identical cars, seems to rotate between MK4 astras, Clio 172/182s, and ibiza cupras

Bits from the 106 are selling fast, so bought myself some irridium plugs for when I service it. Was going to do it today, but need to change two ball joints on the accord, going to be an pain in the arse

Serviced it today, had a oil and fuel filter, irridium plugs, and topped up with nice fully synthetic 5w30 oil. Discovered I need a new rocker gasket, as the plug holes were full of oil

Nice stuff shall be keeping an eye on this.
I fitted iridiums in mine and really did notice the difference when I serviced it.
What drop will the springs give? I have eibach springs on mine, not sure if they are a 40mm drop or a 50/30mm drop but the car sits abit lower and is still comfortable to drive so can't fault mine.
Gsi headlights and some black mesh would look at the front, always thought that bumper would suit a nice fmic sitting behind the mesh.
Look forward to more updates

The springs are meant to give a 30mm drop front and rear, would like more but want to keep the handling and comfort. Im not sure if there is any difference with mine with the irrdiums
Forgot about the black mesh, thats something I need as I hate the rusty, silver mesh
Edit, just bought some black ABS plastic mesh, imo it will look more OEM, and it wont rust

Headlights arrived yesterday, they look pretty:
Debadged it today, going to change the griffin badge for an opel item, got a list for autovaux when I get paid, badge and 2.2 airbox are the first items, there will be more
Removed the Regency dealer sticker too
Also, noticed it says on the eibach box up to 40mm drop, which is nice.

Waiting for a cheap set of irmscher rears to come up, but they are only £99 brand new on LMF just now, but I cant really afford any more bits untill I sell the accord
Springs are from LMF.

£100 thats a bargain, id get some if they didnt look so pale on black cars
and oh what weight would i need for a 1.8 astra?
theres three different weights
- front up to 845 rear 820
- front 846 - 935 rear 820
- front 936 to 1035 rear 820
im guessing front 846 - 935? seeing as my cars in the middle of the astra range?

Friend of mine had them on his black astra a while back, they looked really good.

Stainless power pipe on the way, along with a Baileys DV26 twin piston dump valve.
What can I say, im a sucker for the noise
Oh yeah, anyone know the diameter of pipes to connect the power pipe? Dont really want to cut the OE intake pipe, think ill get some silicon connections from TX Autosport.
