i have replaced everything possible to get my car running right, i just cant get to the bottom of it. is it possible that a dodgy ECU would make my engine run on 3 cylinders?

your car wont run right untill you have it set up after a rebuild or replacing certain parts. your best bet it you get a remap as it could just be that its running low boost or shit A/F ratio

it was running like crap and then i replaced the parts to try and fix it but nothing i have done has cured it, cylinder head, coil pack, leads, plugs, carb, headgasket etc

i have a spare ECU but it wont be paired with my key so the engine wont run at all with it in so i cant tell if its my current ECU thats nackerd?

naah, no turbo, its just a 1.6 8v SPI ecotec engine
