Looking at getting some of the old cars out of the loft, but i want to upgrade to electronic speed control as the old 3 stage tamiya system waste loads of power at low speeds.
Is it possible to just fit a speed controller inplace of the OE servo or do i need to buy a whole new radio set up.

You just buy a new speed controller, my tamiya tlo1 used to have the 3 way but now it has a Lrp sprint

i have one you can buy, it was £250 for everything, and you can have it for £175, USED ONCE. (albeit in the dirty rain water lol)
