After my other thread which I deleted, i've come up with an idea about getting two outlooks to interact without using mail exchange.
If I was to use the outlook.pst file on another outlook, would it take EVERYTHING accross?
Is there a file I could just use to share the journal / notes / calendar?
What would be the best way to remotely send 1 file from one computer to another?

With outlook, you can share calendars using a remote file (i.e stored on a web server or something).
Do you have a spare PC which can store this data?

Google apps is a far simpler solution if you don't want to use exchange.

Yeah just realised I can use something like Mozyhome.
Can I set a "Dowload time" to any version of "mozy home" so it downloads a file automatically?

Most online storage works like a sync directory, so file changes are automatically uploaded/updates. With Dropbox its roughly 10secs for the software to detect the change in file size and start uploading the new file.
The only issue you have is that it would be re-uploading the whole pts file, which could be anything from a few 100mb to GBs (my outlook pts is currently around the 4/5GB mark).

You'll also need to shut down outlook when the file is being accessed, if you're moving it straight from the original folder it'll need to be shut down the whole time it transfers either way, it isn't practical.

Drop Box...
Dump the PST file in there and point Outlook to that location on both PCs.
As i'm a Microsoft guy, i'd just use Outlook over HTTPS if on two different sites.
