I end up getting paid more, not much mind, but it's because I don't get taxed on holidays. Though it was same for everyone tbh.

My work dont count today as a bank holiday. And easter monday is the only bank holiday we get double pay.

When I worked at the Co-op I got no extra pay but got given a "lieu day" which is basically like an extra day's holiday.

At my current job (in an office) I get the day off with normal pay.

It really does depend on the contract.
