Well yea, thats a sign that they are clogged up and sticking. The tutorial basically tells you how to strip them, clean them and test them.

care to elaborate warren? Any tips? Im planning on refurbing a set tomorrow. Iv tested the spring bit and Iv got 1 out of 16 that springs back
Any suggestions on how to get them all free so I can get 16 working ones.

you just have to take them apart and drain the oil, then they spring fine
wouldnt realy call it refurbishing though

Did you just pull it out and the spring just comes out isit? Iv got them soaking in gunk so should come out relatively easy in the morning. I hope.

wont make it any easier, need some long noise mole grips and pull them out - there held in with a ring clip, and have to be forced out

Take it they just push back in and clip into place?
