Right guys......

Were looking for a holiday

Basically we have already been to a lot of places..Engaged in Mexico..Turkey 3 times (although i've been 11! lol) We went to Disneyworld for our honeymoon and last year we went to the Dominican republic.

We are proper stuck on where to go

Our initial thought was Egypt and if we get proper stuck we will still go there.

So we have about £2,000 to spend and after all inclusive with couple in mind.

We have looked into Portugal...Gran Canaria....Menorca as Mexico/Disneyworld/Dominican are coming out WAY more than they were when we went

So has anyone been to a REALLY good hotel and loved the holiday and can reccomend a place we havn't thought of???? Also we have to go away in the 6 weeks school holidays so were gonna get screwed price wise no matter what.

Cheeerssss

Cant beat Tenerife for a cheap week in the sun.

'IF' we go away this year then thats where we'll be going!!

My arguement is we've other things needing the cash splashed before a holiday & would rather leave it & go somewhere nuts the following year!!

Bad stories?? Ive never heard a bad story about the place.

Get yourself to Playa Las Americas right down the bottom part thats just been done up, keeping clear of Veronica's.

We stayed in the mediteranian palace which lies among some top resurants & beaches & plenty bars. Enough to do for a week in the sun!!

the bad reviews are due to the older hotel they have behind these 2. you would need to phone up and check you were in the mastines or chihuahua's complex.

we got the mastines and all we could find fault with was a noisy ceiling fan at night. but i just turned it on slow and it was fine.

the food was perfect for me, not a huge choice but enough to keep me happy.

i eat a lot of meat and vegetables and pasta and they had loads so was perfect for mine and the mrs needs.

Tenerife is fine so long as you stay away from Las Americas!

Dubrovnik in Croatia is worth a look as well.

Bottom bit, Las America's Plaza is superb.

Bit to the left, Veronica's area is a dump.

I had a great time when I went, some excellent resturants in the bit we stayed as well if your fussy. Theres an amazing Mexican over the road from Cleopatra Hotel & Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant a bit further up. Think we ate in these 2-3 nights each they were that good!!
