ive just been looking at these this morning, and there 150bhp and with a shit load of torque as well
what are they like to drive ????
ive seen the re-maps for these cars as well and they take them just over 200bhp, but with even more torque.
i think i might have to have a better look at them !!!!

Nice to drive, Torque makes them nippy, should see mid to high 30's to the gallon in them. When u map them they go near 300ft/lb.

I've got Sports Hatch 150 CDTI SRI with XP. Brilliant car for everyday driving with low down power in every gear. Mine reads mid 40s mixed driving around town and mid 50s on the motorway. MPG drops to mid 30s in the winter if you only do short journeys like I do.

Great sitting in 6th on the motorway.

Things to look out for are Swirl Flap problems and EGR blocking.

Best all round car I've had tbh. John will have some good things to say too.

Ive got one, had quite a few problems. But just the usual swirl flaps, egr valve, air con radiator. Its quite high mileage so was to be expected. Luckily it still had some warrenty!

Quite quick cars, can imagine with a remap it would be quite fun. Think box'd ones run low 15's quarter miles. Not that quick but 30-70+ is where they're best.

I'm thinking of selling mine.

I can keep pace with a mates 225 S3.. Never had the chance but boxed ones will also keep pace with a standard VXR so their not shy.

I love mine, had it nearly a year now and I cant see us selling it any time soon as I cant think what I'd replace it with that ticks so many boxes..

Got Donnas little brother to get one.

Its a great little engine, but a little slower to pick up boost compared to the Audi VAG derv engines.

But i'd still love one? There are loads about as they are good little cars. I wouldn't say no if one was offered

What is it you drive again?

Good cars, I like mine, don't think they are as fast as everybody makes out but not the slowest thing on the road.

Map it or get a dtuk box and you will wonder how you put up with it in standard form. Tottaly transforms them.
