hello
ive just done some research into a brake upgrade on my 1.0 as its due pads and discs anyways
the 1.0 discs are 236mm solid , but it looks like the 2.0 discs and 1.6 are both 256mm and vented
can anyone shine a light on why the 2.0 ones are alot better ?
thanks

The 2 litre discs are thicker, so better cooling. Also the piston in the caliper on the 2 litre setup is bigger, so they stop better.
The diameter of the disc and if its grooved and drilled doesnt make any difference to how well they stop, there are just marginal cooling differences.
