Can you make it so that it only shows certain things on the News Feed thing? I think you used to able to. Basically I just want to hide pointless things like people joining groups and things from quizzes etc like this - "Jasmine % 68 not missing someone"

hover over the 'update' and it will have a hide button the right, click that and it will come up with options

By the looks of it you can get it to hide certain apps but you can't do it on the joining groups ones
It does mean you have to do it each time for each new app but most of them are the same one all the time anyway.

I hate the new Facebook now it's like when you comment or like anything it puts a story on your profile. You used to be able to block that but you can't anymore.
