Hi i'm putting a redtop into my 1.4 sport I've got everything apart from the driveshafts and conversion kit going to buy the conversion kit a type 2 one. But the driveshafts what do I use I'm puzzled I can't use the 1.4 shafts for obvious reasons what ones will fit ?? Help please

If you get the conversion kit from ebay of LMF i thought you got the driveshafts with it?

Either use Corsa GSi Shafts (they're 22 spline) with MK2 Cav 1.6 Inner CV Joints (to fit the gearbox) or buy the shafts in the kit as Eddx14xe posted.

The kit I found has driveshafts with it are they not the ones to use ?

i have std calibra shafts in mine on both sides

Did you cut them down or anything Nic? When i was looking at conversions, i read that they are 3mm too long and would have to be machined down to fit properly

I have some GSI ones for sale with CV's to suit a big block gearbox.

not cut mine down no. split shaft set up on driver side and passenger side is std calibra one after i snapped the conversion one.
