i have never owned a redtop so am not massivley clued up on the c20xe engine, i really like the look of this one, its going to be a 846 mile trip to get it. did a reg check, evrything is fine on the car, just after opinions on whether it looks like a good buy! also with the mods stated, what bhp roughly would it run??

Looks good mate. if he has recipts for all the work and if its pretty reasent then thats a good bye, looks like its been well looked after

yes a very good buy in my opinion ! no mot but like twitch says if he has receipts for all the work carried out u cant lose out!

yeah 2500 is quite alot, but now a days you get what you pay for! he does say that 'it will come with mot and 6 months tax' so i would assume he will do it before i go down !

Yeah, make sure he does and not just give you the money for them.

I took a car off somebody once with no tax, but he knocked it off the final price. I regretted it because its too much pissing about

yeah I know what you mean, last thing im going to want to do it have to mot it etc! when buying a 1997 car for £2500 i would expect/hope it to have all that stuff done! just gone premium, and noticed i can get 15% off adrian flux, how do i claim that if they quote me a reasonable price?

You phone them up, there's no online quote generator for them, mention the engine etc.

Once you have your quote, mention you're a premium member on a car forum, and they should reduce it.

ah sweet! Had to be done, I used to use this forum alot when i got my first corsa, but i found people were just twats, constantly disagreeing and picking at pathetic things in peoples threads, but now i have come back, people are friendly and helpful, so may aswell do my bit n go Premium

Also i saw that theres a trip to nurberg, so gonna try get to know people bit better n hopefully tag along to that

Have a look at the PVS show mate, come along with a friend. Most people on here are friendly and easy to get on with, so you shouldn't have a problem with getting to know people

Yeah that does look good! I was thinking about going to santa pod in the near future, so i think this is my excuse You have any idea how much you have to pay to have a go on the 1/4 mile, or is it only for specific cars tht weekend??

I really can't remember how much it is, i think it's 2 or 3 runs for under £30.

Anybody can run, i've seen a corsa turbo vs a vxr8 on there before now.

Its just a cover for the ignition coil to make it look funky.

find out how long hes owned the car? if its the same one im thinking about its been passed about alot in 2009 dunno if its maybe hiding any nasty suprises

cheers for that mate, i will find out, i did a text check and its had 10 owners, guy seems alright, but you never know really do ya!

and yeah mate, never know, tht redbull can might give the Corsa wings... well worth £2500 if it did
