On The Times website "Tevez looking to be worth all of £47m fee" City paid 47 million for him

I remember reading something that it ended up being substantially more than £25m. But... Still a better deal than Berbatoss

Didn't City, also, make a deadline day bid for Berbatov when he was at Spurs ? Bet Fergie is regretting that one now

The whole Tevez fee/ownership thing was rediculous.
Agreed though, better deal than Berbatoss!

I think it was 45m because of the fees and ownership rubbish.

Fee might well include wages for the duration of the deal.

Deffo worth it, hes the main reason they are knocking on the door of the Champions League. The players and revenue they will get from that will make that £45 million seem like a drop in the ocean.

If Man City get 4th spot they are going to attract a huge amount of players. I don't know why Mancini is doing it as he will be off and replaced if they get 4th
Potentially they could be contenting for 1st place next year imo

If they dont get 4th he'll probably get the sack too so he cant win either way. I really want Spurs to get 4th.
I've noticed this season there are suddenly a few Man City supporters appearing around here

Exactly TomTom, me and my dad said that the other night.
I bet Robinho will come back with his tail between his legs WHEN they play in the Champions League.

They wouldn't do well but I'd rather that than Man City buying a load of big names

If Spurs get 4th they will go out in the first round.
If Man City get 4th they will get to the Semis

"If Man City get 4th spot they are going to attract a huge amount of players. "
They have already, they spent over 250 million in the one year
Or do you mean with even bigger superstar players?
