Why? They can afford to own, insure and run a performance car. Why drive everywhere like a joyrider?

If you drive a performance car, it's nice knowing the power is there and not having to use it.

With a V6 or V8 it's amazing how much more economical 2000rpm in 5th is

Eh? You said why get a powerful car to drive in 5th at 2000rpm. One reason is economy!

No, I'd put my foot down and get past them

I just respect people with a fast car that drive slowly more than a kid in a slow car trying to pretend it's not.

I drive quite a few miles and I don't find this a major problem, to be honest.

I hate old people in performance cars. I saw a bloke who must have been in his 70's the other day driving a civic type R? I mean why bother? Why not just get a normal civic?

I know what you mean Steve, they should be made to retake their driving test

There's this 55 year old man up my street who drives a convertable Eky 3 and he thrashes it everywhere (probably trying to re-live his childhood )

Couldnt agree more with that statement.

This is very true, although it frightens me rather than winding me up, the amount of barely alive biddys that suddenly swerve into another lane with no indicator, also coming of roundabouts.
