Well everybody.... thought it was about time i started up a progress thread for this one....

Just for a bit of background...... here are a few pics of my old cars.....

some of you may recognise me... some not.....

Yeah... so thats about it up to now...... but come on... thats not what we are here for right???

You wanna see a Corsa C lol... so now... i have sorta downgraded.... long story with the passat.... but it was abit too low and the sump happened to get a bit up close and personal with a pot hole

so.... here is the 2004, 1.4 16v twinport, Star Silver III Corsa....

And.... thats about it so far...

I currently havea a garage full of parts....

lol and to top it all off, hopefully... as soon as my other corsa gets scrapped....

The name of this thread should become all so clear......

and thats about it really......

obviously big plans on the way are wheels, coilovers... etc etc...

and whatever else takes my fancy....

I know its not going to be to everybodys taste... especially the sunstrip haha  but im so used to it now... it feels funny not having one...... hopefully it will tie in a bit more when a few more bits are done to the car....

as usual... comments, criticism and ideas are most welcome...

I look forward to seeing what you have to say...

Matt :doublethumbs:

Big News....

Update 19/4/10....

i took some advice..... and thought that its true... the sunstrip doesnt tie in with anything else like on previous cars.......

sooooooooooooooooooo....... :sadwave:

hope your all happy now lol... no after pics...

so then i got bored..... so i thought i would neaten things up a tad....

took bumper off:

took lights out:

and remounted my ballast boxes on the top of the crash bar... and attatched with zip ties..

neater

Then whilst the bumper was off.... decided to strip the splitter......

Quick comparison to the laguna one i snapped up in the scrappy for a fiver the other day

Bumper ready for action....

and... voila

Bit long though....

I like the look

so a bit of blading....... and a bit of..... this...

Bit of elbow grease....

and bang....

And that was all for today.......

No pics without the sunstrip yet...... more action tommorrow :doublethumbs:

Please when C&P posts across from other threads at least make the effort to remove the emoticons that aren't on this forum! Far easier to read then and makes it slightly less obvious you've just pasted it across!!

Glad to hear that awful sunstrip has gone though!
