Right just out of curiosity if you had a corsa that was worth around £1200-1500 as a standard car but was modified and you declared the mods to the insurance and the quote was around £1000 TPFT what would you do?
Insure the car with the mods declarded knowing that your paying £1000 on a car that isnt worth much more than that?
Or Insure it as a standard car and leave the modifications on and pay around £500 TPFT?

Declare everything, if you can't afford the insurance don't do the mods

Declare it all as if you have undeclared mods and crash into someone, well you know the score, all mods declared on my Nova £390 TPFT

Can you not arrange to declare the mods, but leave them un-insured?
