to paint his back bumper after he reversed into a bollard in Tesco car park, as he's going to sell the car soon so thought he'd get it 'spruced up'.
Jesus Christ!!!! What a mess they've made of it!!
Dont have any pic's as he was going to batter me for laughing at it but seriously what a job!!
Looks like an autistic kid done it blindfolded with a paint roller.
Best bit is he had asked me to take it along to the guy I get to paint my cars several months ago & said it was too dear, even though he paid £150 for this mess, which from memory isnt much more than I was quoted!!
That will teach him!!!

My boss had half his bumper resprayed by them. They came and quoted him something stupidly cheap like £30 to do it.
He thought sod it, its a state anyway (was cracked), I'll risk it. They did an amazing job, I was so surprised
Only a boring silver colour but you'd be seriously hard pressed to see the old paint and the new. Fucking bargain!

They did an amazing job on my old Imperial Blue Zetec-S.
But did a bad job on my ex's green Ford Ka.

they are terrible, makes my life hard as their shit paint reacts with any other paint so you have to wash it off, funniest one i have had was a silver maserati 4200, had the whole front bumper and the front half of the bonnet and front wings done, along with all four wheels, had to wash it all off with thinners, was over the rubbers and foglights too, god knows why someone paid for that

He should go back with it......but he probably wont!!
I tried to polish it up a bit after telling him to leave it to cure for a few days & had paint coming off on the applicator pad I was using to put the polish on!!
Oh dear!!

i got a guy out from ''essex smart repairs'' to spray a small patch on the bootlid and front bumper on my fiesta and he did a great job, think it was £120 for all.
suppose it all depends who you get.

The guy who is my local one isn't horrendous, but far from great. Trouble is there isn't any other decent smart repairers in my neck of the woods.
In general though, steer well clear!!
Even I can strip their paint off with a couple of my chemicals

Fantastic smart repair garage opposite my work did a scratch on the Punto for £80 - couldn't fault.
I remember when Chips Away first started and they were all well trained. I can only imagine they rush the franchisees through training so quick to make as much money as they can that they have no idea what they're doing.

Place I used to work had the rear bumper of a Touran painted and the colour match (bluey silver) was way off, I wouldn't use them.
