Really need a decent in car kit and also fancy having either my ipod linked or sending music from the phone (HTC Desire) - what can anyone recommend?

Seen the MKi9000 and MKi9100, are there any other options that might be better?

I was looking into this..

Went to an audio installer my old man knows.

He rated the parrot kits although it meant I'd have to ditch my subwoofer.

Ended up going with a full Alpine head unit with the iphone/ipod interface.

I used to be able to play the audio from videos and music on my mobile through the Parrot kit in the Corsa. The quality was SHOCKING.

I nearly had the 9100 installed in the Golf but ended up splashing out on a VW headunit with hard drive in.

A few reports I saw mentioned that sometimes playback could be a bit choppy, and the battery drain of broadcasting over bluetooth wasn't great either.

Cheers guys, will probs just use the ipod rather than the phone for music due to it's rather shocking battery life!
