Started stripping out the GSi today so i could clean the interior properly, and get 2 small holes welded in each front arch and remove all the sound deadening.
Upon removing everything i was met with this
Drivers rear arch (The tail light also sits in at this side which would appear to have suffered a rear ended )
Fuel filler tunnel -
Passenger side of the floor -
Passenger front arch (Which i knew about beforehand)
Drivers side of floor
Drivers front arch (Already knew about this)
Car is pretty much bare as the engine is out at the moment (Burning oil )

Well i had taken the engine out with the intention of rebuilding it
Had also started to strip back the inner arches with the intentions of freshening everything up and making it a tidy example....

Jesus Christ mate. It's alright welding everything back up, but you gotta seriously wonder how strong the shell actually is now! Goodbye to another gsi!

That looks bloody bad. I wouldn't bother repairing - the amount it'd cost you could pick up a mint Corsa B for £2k or something.

Just had another good look at the pics mate and tbh i wouldnt even consider fixing it.
Re-shell it would be the only way imo and would be half the work.
