ive put a 20l 8v in my corsa sport on a R reg it has a standerd alam and i do not no how to trun it of and i think it is stoping it from sparking can any one help thanks

I'm pretty sure the standard vauxhall alarm just makes a noise and the immobiliser is in the ecu. Since you have a different old ecu, it won't have an immobiliser. Its probably a wiring issue or some sensor (usually crank/cam sensor for spark).

we put some wires on the coil and to the battery and then the alam started to go off

I would just rip out everything to do with the alarm as those engines run without them anyway.

did the paper clip test and it says on siganl on the crank senser
