Anyone done any? Is it expensive to get a trip sorted for say 4 or 5 days? Would want it as cheap as possible and take my own bike. Wouldn't have a clue where to go or anything, just a random thought I had

My sister is staying out in the three valleys this year to run the hotel which she works in over the ski season. They're opening as a Moutnain biking resorts and having certain lifts open to get you to the peaks etc

Thats what I'd be after, just want to get on a lift to go to the top then do lots of massive descents. Any more info?

I don't know the ins and outs but next time I speak to her I'll ask her.

The resort is Les Menuires which is part of the Three Valleys so would give access to Val Thorens, Meribel, Saint Martin de Belleville etc. Its the worlds largest Skiing area so dependent on what lifts are open, you could potentially never ahve to do the same run twice

Obviously, some of the ski lifts won't open as they probably wont be equipped to carry bikes unless they put some kind of carriage on to sling the bikes in?

Those apartments look alright Ed.

I wouldn't want to be doing anything thats proper downhill type tracks needing a full face helmet. My bike isn't made for that and I'm not either I dont mind a tough route, just not a downhill track with monster jumps. I guess more XC/trail centre type stuff...

I really need to look in to this some more.
