Full of pikeys and the venue is a dump, expensive to get into and just a waste of time.

Go to PPC at Mallory instead.

i went to this last year and was a good day out, only thing that i find funny is that for a dirver and car its £7 but for a passenger its something like £15 me and my girlfriend are taking a 2 and a half hour drive to it. as said i think its a good day out and the track action was pretty cool with oldschool mk2 escorts power drifting round corners on three wheels

Not worth it unless your local, and even then im not bothering this year. Bad organisation and incompetent marshalls. I strongly advise anyone going to not to go on track!!

If you do, please be as patronising to the organisers as possible, and let everyone know that drifting is allowed on the track at all times.

And the track resembles the M25 between Rickmansworth and South Mimms.

Makaveli was the name 2Pac used on his last album before he was shot
Taken from Niccolò Machiavelli who was an Italian philosopher

Il just assume you havent driven it. Its a brilliant circuit, one of the best ive driven. Just a shame its in the hands of idiots.

I have driven it actually.

Straight > big bend > straight > small bend > straight big bend > straight > small bend.

Give me Cadwell any day of the week. In fact even Rockinghams infield circuit was better imo.

Were you completely mincing? Its a proper drivers circuit, albeit not quite cadwell, but they call it the mini brands for a reason. Its more like straight > slight left on a descent which knocks the back end out under braking for the longer uphill right hander (tricky to get a good line) easing into a long right hander into a tight left hand bend following into a long descent which makes for a shorter braking distance in a hairpin followed by a downhill straight which goes into a very fast uphill right hander, if you clip the entrance of the corner on the left hand side you can take an extremely quick line into it, i was doing about 70. There are some brilliant gradients which most circuits lack. Ive had so much fun at Lydden in the past.

Each to their own

I'd borrowed a Fiesta ST race car so didn't have all that many laps (and was at my risk of stacking it) but didn't feel like I was holding back that much.

The downhill into the righthander was the best I'll give you that, but I just didn't rate it as a whole. Didn't help that it took me 2 and a half hours to drive there which probably dampened how I remembered it
