Do you get any discounts or privleges from insurance companies for being over 25? I know most companies give more options to over 25's but how great is the discount in renewal prices?

not really, but its easier to get accepted on higher grouped cars, but after that i'm sure they start putting your insurance up each year, the bastards

Yeh I've got 6 years no claims and I'm 25 in December. There's a few companies who won't insure me on a LCR because its a 'high powered vehicle'

just wait Nic, one day they will suddenly decide to put your insurance up.
on my 2nd car they suddenly decided £230 a year was too cheap so doubled it to over £400
