Quick question regarding map packs etc..
I bought my PS3 2nd hand and it came with COD 4&5... both with downloaded maps installed.
Quite recently I deleted his username off the console, and with it somehow the maps were also deleted
Is there anyway of re-installing the maps without paying for them again? i.e. can they be transferred off another console or downloaded off a torrent site etc..?
It's not that I'm against paying for content, but the way I see it is that it's already been paid for. Same way as I bought the game off the previous owner. I'd like to play them again, but seeing as I've not even put the disc in the console for about 5 months, I can't justify spending on them.
I will be paying for the MW2 map pack when it's available, so no big deal if I can't get my MW1 maps back

imo I don't think you can do that. Just buy them, I would of thought the COD WaW (5) would be a bit chepaer now.
MW2 Maps out Tuesday 4th May. (May the 4th Be With you.) £9.99

If you've deleted them then they're gone. You'd need that other username to be able to download them again.
Also, old COD maps aren't any cheaper, not on xbox anyway, just the same as they always was.

Not worth buying if you don't play on it anymore... just kicking myself now.
To make it worse.. they gave the maps away with later releases of the game FFS.
Anyway, I'm not paying to play them again once or twice, so if I can't terrent download them and stick them onto the console, stuff it.
Cheers for the replies

TBH, I only ever played W@W about 5 times in total... think I only got to level 11.
Always prefered MW1, but don't play that anymore either.

Zombies is the only decent thing in COD5 IMO, I prefer the Modern Warfare series much more than the "olden times" series.

I love modern warfare but W@W is cool simply for the fact there's no gay things like heartbeat sensors, plus you just gotta love the betties
You've also gotta love gettin motorbike kills on COD3 I miss being able to go for a spin in the vehicles

There's still a good online following. It's worth it for a fiver.
