what do you want from it?

- Edinburgh
- Bath
- Portsmouth
- Liverpool/manc (but as your from that way dont think you want them),
- London

some of the places i tend to go/like.

but if you want something less city like
- lakes
- somewhere in wales
- st ives/cornwall/devon/somewhere down south on the coast

Anywhere in UK really, not looking to go European as will only be a Fri/Sat and would rather do a longer weekend if going that far.

Looking for more of a City break than somewhere in the sticks, decent restaurants and places to have a drink. General shite to do within the city and not having to travel much once there would be a good idea too.

why not look at Amsterdam on ferry?

Not very expensive.

Night over on ferry, 8 hours in Amsterdam, night back on ferry.

See my point about longer weekend if going that far.

Plus if Im going to Amsterdam Im going to get fucked up so will need longer anyway
