Ive desired a bit of a fetish now tbh

I was a mechanic for 5 years and bought nothing but snap on. I changed jobs last year and now work in a factory building fire engines.

While i was a mechanic i rented a shed which had a 2 poster ramp ect in it and could fit 5 cars.

I was just wondering if anyone else has got the snap on addiction

I just realised that post really doesnt lead anywhere. I do work for people at night, so I see that my tools make me money.

People in the job where I work now rip the hole out of me for spending a good few k's worth on the tools. The way I look at it is, I am not out pissing £80 a week against a wall. Plus they make me my money

ive been a mechainc since i left school (coming on 11 years) and ive never bothered with snapon. dont think there tools are worth the extra money personally, can do the same job with cheaper ones which have the same warranties etc .. snap-on are good but just not for me , i think there just WAYYYYY over priced.

Over 8K worth of Snap-on!

It's a little funny when the snap-on truck rolls into the industrial area where I work, all the tradesmen come running like children chasing the ice-cream van

....myself included

Thats so true.

Anyone know of any full length draw top boxes for sale

At the min, i have a majorly long box, with no height. Want to add a bit of height to it. I have a roll cab, 2 side boxes and 2 shelves on it. its great, its like a work bench of your own haha
