Yep it's another one of these thread im afraid....
Last year my insurance for the civic was £690 fully comp (21, 3 ync, no convictions, no mods)
This year with mods/points declared just got quoted £917 (22, 4 ync, sp30, mods) and that was with Adrian Flux!
Gave Sky insurance a call and they quoted me £991 so couldn't match that of Adrian Flux at all!
Anyone know of any other cheap car insurance companies?

Brentacre were good when I wanted to insure my SXi, but I rang them to get a quote on a GSi, and they wanted £2000 TPF&T whereas HIC wanted £1300 FC.

My mates insurance on his Astra VXR has just gone up £200 a year. Dreading what mine is, looks like i might aswell go for a golf gt tdi rather than the CTR

points dont affect insurance. they are only there to 'tally' up towards the 12 limit.
conviction codes affect insurance.
