Is there a way you can see a list of threads you've posted in? Normally on other forums I login and post a few times and then when I come back instantly click a button which will display all the threads I've posted in so I can easily see if anyone has replied... On CS though I seem to just post a reply and then never see the thread again as I forget about it or can't find it...
So uhm, is there anyway to do it?

I think that would be linked to the search function - which we only have a basic version of and thats if you pay £12.50

Its fine how it is as long as it gets a search function.

It would be really simple to have a page do it to be honest, could we possibly have it done Ian? Not asking for a full blown advanced search function, just the ability to list threads you've posted in.

Search has this functionality but it only gives the first page of results and it's not available to non-Prems.
It was never the intention to remove the facility from people, the reason it's not on general release is that it needed testing before we let people at it, in case it slowed the site down.
I think it should come out of Beta by now, but Tim was working on it so I'll have to run it by him.

Think the search really needs to be re-implemented. 2-3 threads a week minimum, plus the help zone is full of repeat questions. Have you even seen another forum without a search function?

I've seen them disabled for speed.
Doesn't help that we got people taking the piss out of it. A lot of the time programming and testing was spent making it resistant to deliberate denial of service attempts.
I am all for its return though. The mail to Tim is already sent.

Fingers crossed Tim's done his job then
If you need to search the sub-forums, post a topic up with a rough topic, and check the related links, can generally find stuff off that, then delete the thread you used to get the links, did it the other day, worked fine.
Obviously this is until/if the search comes back

Fantastic, disable access by IP for the users who deliberately try to bugger it up.

I remember when Nic Barnes abused the search feature and brought the site down
