In the last week my car has got a flat battery but yesterday it cut out at the traffic lights and it wouldnt jump start with leads or anything?.....
I also began to hear it sort of try to backfire sort of sound bearing in minds its only a 1l 12v lol...

you probably need a new battery, im sure if you go to your local car parts/accessories shop they'll do a free battery test.

Ok tested my battery its fine ive charged car starts fine everytime...
Then suddenly i lose power...Then it wont start again for hours maybe over night...
It smells like its running rich aswell...
No EML Light Though...NOt my starter/alter/battery What else?
