Woooo been waiting a few weeks for this.

I'd agree'd to buy some carbon fibre parts, but when it came to paying I wasn't so sure, plus I had no money but I was committed, so sent off the cheque with the "well if im not keen i'll sell it and break even" attitude.

It turned up yesterday, my word its nice Only problem is the main bit of carbon on the top of the tank is scratched. Gutted. All the other parts connect into it so i can't fit anything yet I dropped the bloke an email last night, and checked them before bed. He'd already sent me a mail apologising, will get it sorted etc... Then another mail saying its sorted, mail him up the damaged parts, and the chap in Slovakia will mail me the replacement part directly.

I could probably polish it out somehow, but its quite a bit of cash for not much, so shouldn't need to. The bloke who's sorted it just does it to help people out and has been excellent. I wish a few major shops would pick up an attitude like this.

Donnas already siad i need the fain tailunit surrounts, and also that black area (airducts to rear radiator) just below the seat unit to match all the other carbon on it now






If you want some carbon parts made up, its possibly worth contacting Peter on his site and im sure he can make something. The fitment is very very good.

Just got to wait for the tanktop to come back and then put it all on. Plus D4MO B is mid transfer at the moment so that'll be on the bike (currently on my Bandit). The coil sticks have been replaced, so now i've just got to change the cutch driveshaft gear (known failure = seizes, so don't want that in France ), new oil and filter and its good to go

Would that engine fit in a Kawasaki AR50 as my mate Norton needs something to replace his 80cc bore kit.

Will look alot better, the parts on it look cheap compared to the carbon!

AJ - Usually is 320+ euros for those 4 parts. I got them for just over 200.

Olly, you can fit anything in anything if the willpower, and the wallet is there

Graham, indeed, plus i've got lots of other carbon bits on it, front + rear hugger, upper and lower chaingaurd, kickplates, brake line cover etc, so it'll all match.

Really, i should just sell it and buy an LE but they are still going for £10k I reckon another £700 would cover all the carbon I want, but do I want to spend that on fancy looking stuff? Thats quite a few track days...

Then again, Christmas, Donna gets me one, Dad another, mum another part, I might get there

Stupid isn't it.

Its an older bike, no-where near as fast as others (slightly quicker than 600cc SS, but slightly slower than a new GSXR750, so quick enough), but it still makes me giggle like a schoolgirl when the induction note booms through the tank.

We've got members who've owned a lot of expensive kit on the forum, but most of them have kept their Nellis as theres just something about it.



Im now saving for a Bimota SBK8 (I wish)

Long and thin. Quite a long wheelbase on it.

Engine itself is quite small, but not a super compact Triple like the Triump 675 engine.


Im really waiting to see how good the new MV Agusta 800cc triple is when they finally release some real information on it (if it even makes the road).

My mate has an Af1 125 frame. Slam a CR500 engine and away you go!

nice, i like carbon fibre on any bike so much more then on a car

I might get some carbon fibre front and rear huggers for my Aprilia SR125
