Recieved a phone call from my mate earlier telling me how he was doing a delivery & returned to the work van to find 2 blokes laughing, they asked him if it was his van, he said yes, they said 'Well we just clamped it' (parked on double yellows)
Now that was amusing enough for me, til I recieved another phone call from him how he'd been turning the steering from side to side & the clamp just shattered & fell off!
Made my day anyway

i no a legit way around this, leave ur tyre down so u can pull the clamp ova the flatned tyre, get ur spare on, drive down to the local police station and hand it is and lost and found, u dont get dun

there is a loophole in clamping, basically if u get clamped and the clampers aren't around.. take the clamp off (by whatever means necessary bolt cutters etc..) then tkae the clamp into the police and say i found this on the road. And they can't do anything as they have no proof u took it off.
