After many weeks/months of pondering the corsa is now forsale! anyone sold a high spec car before, i have advertised it as parts but not sure where the best place to advertise it is, i mean its a bit more extreme than your average corsa drivers mod needs!
got it listed here: http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=557267&pid=7261591#pid7261591
going to try pistonsheads for the engine etc and maybe migweb, any other good places to try?
cheers

I dont think it would take long to shift the engine somewhere like that - its definately worth selling in peices unfortunately, cant see someone paying £10k plus, but individual parts are dead easy to shift ( i ended up with over £5k for mine!)
Anyways hope all goes well with the selling etc, i know how much a pain it can be

i dont really want to split the engine, its all designed to work together! may sell throttle bodies and exhaust manifold seperatly! cheers! hopefully itll all shift quickly!
Fad, haha, selling it should pay for the m5 fuel bills for a week! haha

Rally spares is a good bet, also try MIGWeb for some of the smaller parts (I can't see many on there parting with £6k for a 1.6 as it tends to lean towards C20XE/LET parts!).
One thing is for sure, advertising on here will mean you will sell the car twice over in a day, turn down genuine buyers elsewhere and find that the timewasters on here without a pot to piss in will not come up with the goods.
I have heard every excuse under the sun from people on here of late, save yourself the hassle and dont advertise on here.
EDIT: It may be worth trying some Caterham forums, I swear they put the C16 in some of them!

Yeah the engine isnt really suited for sale on this forum.
LETGSI16v nothing is sold until i have the money in my account, not holding anything for anyone unless they pay, its sad that you cant trust people for that now.
RCS, im sure i will regret it, hopefully i wont tho

EXACTLY my thoughts but when you have people asking for your paypal address you say to others that it is provisionally sold and they then send nothing it gets fucking annoying. Especially as one of them, ConnolyGT30 or something is a member so you expect better from them. Then they claim to have not received a PM about the paypal address, so you re-send it and still nothing. Then you have all the non members like taylor2008 who between here and MIG wanted the whole car, the pair of them and the others who's names escape me are time wasting twats.
This site is a waste of space for genuine sellers, a car FILLED with high end bits as yours is will have all the starry eyed twats wanting the World for 50p. Good look with it Broster, but SERIOUSLY, don't bother listing it on here.
