INFACT this is such an awesome engine that if a Maclaren F1 raced past at 100 mph and the bugatti was standing still the bugatti from a standing start at full acceleration would beat the Maclaren F1 to 200 mph....UNBELIEVEABLE!!!!

i still dont believe this.

When using the clay bar, they mentioned using their own special lube so probably.

Errr the real life test would prove otherwise.

Have a read of Ron Dennis REAL truth about the Top Gear McLaren F1 Vs Veyron, and how the F1 stuffed the Veyron every single time and the shot had to be fixed so the Veyron won.

The F1 would stuff it to 200mph as its acceleration was far superior. Veryon beats it after 200mph though.

Course he would, but its one thing to say "yeah, we just lost" and another to say "we stuffed it every time and it took about 20 attempts and a slow run from the McLaren to get a shot that could be used for the show"
