Not really on a 1.0 12v mate as they are the only 3 cylinder engine so you cant swap and change parts from other engines. The money you would waste on trying to get anything from it just save up and put towards another engine.

3 options
1: Engine transplant - x16xe, c20xe etc
2: keep it standard and save the money for a better car
3: sell it for a better car

C20XE. Loads of them going about caithness, should pick one up for £200-£300. Was one in the scotads recently with all the corsa mounts too.

Why don't you buy Brosters engine, utter bargain if you ask me considering the work that's gone into it!

the simple answer is don't bother, putting a k&n replacement panel filter on my brothers gave it a little boost off the line but so slight it's barely noticeable. It's not meant to be fast at the end of the day!

Aye theres one in wick for sale... comes with chipped ecu, loom and all corsa mounts and shafts for 250 sheet, but iam not to keen on a redtop corsa, wud rather a 2.0 8v. Your brother offered me two 2.0 ecotecs for 80 sheet but dont really wana go down the ecotec road... Ill just wait and see what comes up!

So long as you drive it semi-sensible you'll be fine. I had a 106 GTI at 18, and have a Z20LET astra at 19. Just don't go too crazy haha

Nova GSI goes well with the C16SE, cant see it being bad in a corsa.

£850 gets you a Dblias Inlet Manifold and 18bhp apparently.
But seriously, just keep it running nice. To make it perform better you could try better suspension set up and remove weight. Only way really.
