Did I hear it right? I wasn't concentrating but I swear he said they are only the second team to get promoted and still be there after 2 seasons?

Oldham (founder members so potential statistical manipulation), Wigan, Bolton, Portsmouth etc.

Please tell me I misheard it?

Think he meant 2nd team to be promoted who has improved on their position of the first season.

As said above, only the second team to be promoted into the premiership who have improved on their points tally in their second season over their first. 45points last season; 47 this season.

They kept referring to it as "Second Season Syndrome" where clubs either go back down or don't do as well
